| Young visitors and families |

Colors, shapes, then gestures and words, children express themselves quite naturally thanks to contemporary art. A school for the imagination, the Tok-Tok activities place the child at the heart of current creative practice and help develop his/her sense of observation, inventiveness and independence.

Youngsters visits will be back with the opening of upcoming exhibitions on October 21th.

The Palais de Tokyo proposes a number of fun and creative activities for young audiences. In order to make contemporary creation more accessible to our younger visitors, Little Palais may take on the guise of a lecture hall, a concert hall or an art workshop. Accompanied by parents or amuseum educator, youngsters can embark on an  extraordinary artistic adventure.

Little Palais is open to families and school groups; it can take the form of art workshops or an afternoon of storytelling, and remains an original and inclusive means of bringing young audiences closer to contemporary art.

Tok-Tok Program

The activities on offer in Tok-Tok take place partly within the exhibition spaces, in close proximity to the art, and partly in the Little Palais around the exhibition halls.

Specially adapted to the needs of children according to their age groups, Tok-Tok activities help children understand the work of artists “from the inside” and develop their observational skills, inventiveness and self-sufficiency.
