Papotin Evening

The 14/03/2024 from 18:00 to 23:00

Issue 41 launch party

The newspaper Le Papotin celebrates the launch of its 41st issue at the Palais de Tokyo in the company of its journalists and Rodolphe Burger with his “Sonnenblume” project.

Rodolphe Burger will be interviewed live by Le Papotin team, before performing with his atypical “Sonnenblume” project. A precious concert, as it is rarely presented before the release of a first album. Original texts will also be read by a special guest, adding a unique touch to this journalistic celebration.

Le Papotin, a true journalistic gem, was launched within the Antony day hospital in 1989. Its issues are packed with texts and drawings, standing out with distinctive interviews conducted with eminent figures from the worlds of culture and politics. These interviews, conducted by atypical journalists, elicit unprecedented responses that the guests might not have revealed in more traditional media.

Over the years, the project has been extended to other medical-educational institutions and the editorial board has grown, while retaining its original essence. Building on its success, especially with the programme “Les rencontres du Papotin”, broadcasted since September 2022 on France 2, the heart of Le Papotin remains its annual paper journal. Each year, a launch party marks the issue’s release. This year’s launch of issue 41 at the Palais de Tokyo is an exclusive evening of meetings, readings along with a concert and Dj set.
