As a continuation of the presentation of – Camille – The Sound of Milk – Experience, which will take place in Room 37 from May 29 to june 1st, 2026 at the Palais de Tokyo, the singer – Camille – invites you to two special listening sessions, followed by a discussion with a guest and an acoustic showcase.
The Sound of Milk is a musical fresco that has been developing for over fifteen years (the age of her eldest son). Conceived as a triptych in three parts—Birth, Childhood, and Adolescence—Camille explores the connections between motherhood, transmission, and creation. From intimate audio diary recorded within her family environment to luminous, orchestrated pop, the album, set for release in autumn 2026, celebrates joy as a vital force in troubled times and questions what we pass on to future generations.
Here, through a sound installation set up in Room 37, you will be able to preview Birth, the first part of the The Sound of Milk triptych. The installation will also reveal the visual identity of this new project through a photograph by Sophie Calle, offering a female perspective on its theme—a commission from Camille to her friend and photographer.
