If the starting point of Aude Pariset’s work always seems to be intimately linked to images, it is through their displacement that she more precisely examines their future. Taken out of the screens which constitute the original case, these (frequently referring to a society obsessed by the leisure and the well-being) migrate towards various types of objects, of the nautical sails to the plastic covers, and are altered by various processes, chemical or biological. This is how hes experiments find a wider echo, questioning the material fate of digital data, and the more general impact of their multiplication on the environment.
