Le passage, Claire Zaniolo

A multidisciplinary artist, researcher, and artistic director of Guadeloupean origin, Claire Zaniolo develops a practice that blends photography, video, and graphic design.
On the occasion of the exhibition Tituba, who protects us? (18.10.2024 – 05.01.2025), the Palais de Tokyo entrusted her with the creation of a risograph edition based on her photographic series Portraits des mien·nes – Guadeloupe, après quinze ans d’absence (2021–2024), accompanied by an original text.

The artist revisited her photographs using the risograph, a cold printing technique that enhances direct tones and offers a unique reinterpretation of her works. This publication, entirely conceived, printed, and crafted in the Palais de Tokyo’s micropublishing workshop, is available in a limited edition of 260 copies.
A precious object to discover now at the Palais de Tokyo bookshop!
