Linga Acácio

Artist

She is an artist and curator from Ceará, Brazil. Researches, writes and produces knowledge that involves performance, intersectionality, anti-colonial disobedience and virology. She is one of the researches of SECUE-LA, a care school for Latin American artists, organized by Capacete, Lugar a Dudas and Teorética. She was a participant of the MAM-RJ 2021 Art Research Program and was one of the members of the Critics Group at São Paulo Culture Center in 2020 and 2021.

Acácio has been working as a cinematographer since 2012 and has participated in more than 25 feature and short films. She was the curator of projects such as Casa Elke (São Paulo/ SP) in 2022, Zona de Remanso – salt and water infiltration, Grande Circular, both installed in 2019/2020 at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Ceará (MAC-CE).
