Laura Sellies

Laura Sellies and Amélie Giacomini collaborate between 2014 and 2020. They develop a work in which installation, film, performance, literature and sound equally share equelly a space that is truly defined only in the viewer’s attention. For an evening, a day, or the time of an exhibition, they have intervened in places such as the Palais de Tokyo, the Center Pompidou, the Biennale de Dakar, the Salon de Montrouge, the BF15 in Lyon, Triangle in Marseille the Institut d’art contemporain de Villeurbanne. Their work has been rewarded with the Presidents’ Prize, awarded by the Association des amis de l’École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon in 2016 and supported by a residency at the Académie de France in Rome, Villa Médicis.
