Hortense Belhôte

Actress

Hortense Belhôte is an actress for theater and film and has taught dramatic art in Parisian conservatories. She has also worked on musical shows with the conductor Hacène Larbi (Les Nuits), the choreographer Mark Tompkins (Show Time! a musical), the performer Mathieu Grenier (#NALF l’opéra), and the actress Sarah Cohen-Hadria (Kissing Nodules).

She holds a Master’s degree in art history and has taught for many years in design schools, art markets and universities. At the crossroads of her practices, she has created a custom-made form.

Hortense Belhôte is currently working on several projects of performing conferences: 1664, debunking the absolutism of Louis XIV (creation 2022); Et la marmotte? a historical and sociological approach of the mountain (commissioned by the National Choreographic Center of Grenoble CCN2 – creation autumn 2022); Portrait de famille, 1789 on the forgotten figures of the French revolution (creation 2023).
