Georges Tony Stoll

Artist

Georges Tony Stoll (1955) is an artist who alternates between parallel practices of painting, drawing and photography, with certain approaches becoming more prominent at different moments of his life and his career. He also regularly creates installations, sound works, objects and texts. Initially drawn to abstraction, he has nonetheless become particularly well-known for his photographic staging of male bodies in a state of tension pictured in spaces at once prosaic and symbolic.
