Born in 1980 in Paris, lives and works in Berlin.
A graduate of the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne, Cyprien Gaillard is the recipient of numerous awards including the Arken Art Prize and the Award for Best Experimental Short Film, Melbourne International Film Festival (2016), Preis der Nationalgalerie (2011), the Prix Marcel Duchamp (2010) and the Audi talents Awards (2007).
