Brieuc Schieb (1995, Nantes – FR) studied aesthetics and cinema at the Sorbonne before joining ENSAD and later Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains. Working across film and installation, his practice draws on vernacular forms and collaborations with those around him to develop fictions exploring collective rituals and inner worlds.

His first short film, La Tourbière (2019), was presented at FIDMarseille and the Centre Pompidou. Koban Louzoù (2022) was selected for FIFIB and the Berlin Critics’ Week, and received the Grand Prizes at Entrevues Belfort and Côté Court Pantin. The two films were released theatrically as a diptych, Chroniques Bretonnes (2024). At Le Fresnoy, he directed 486 (2025) and Perle & Oélia (2026), two projects exploring uchronia, period film and science fiction.
