Ayoung Kim

Ayoung Kim’s work revisits historical events which brought Korea onto the international stage. She uses language, sound and image in a narrative that tells alternative stories. Combing practices from cinema and music, she creates multidimensional installations. She has exhibited at I-Myu Projects in London (2009), the Street Level Gallery in Glasgow (2010), the Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin (2012), 16 Bungee (2013) and at the Seoul Art Space Mullae (2013 and 2015). She also took part in the 56th Venice Biennale: All the World’s Future (2015).
