Inhabited by the meeting of contradictory forces, Aurélien Potier’s work is nourished by the interweaving of paradoxes, where fragility gives rise to a language filled with affect, in a vitality that gives rise to installations, sculptures, texts, performances, drawings and sound compositions. Claiming the power of vulnerability and affirming the centrality of the intimate, Aurélien forcefully expresses the generative potential of unstable moments. He lives and works in Marseille.

His work has been presented at Triangle – Astérides (Marseille), Sissi Club (Marseille), CAPC musée d’art contemporain (Bordeaux), Gianni Manhattan (Vienna), CCA (Glasgow), la Casa Encendida (Madrid), Air de Paris (Romainville), Cooper Union (New York), Belsunce Projects (Marseille), Centre International de Poésie (Marseille).

In 2018 he created an editorial platform entitled “i apologize”. Since 2022, he has co-organized “BRUTAL”, evenings dedicated to poetry in Marseille.
