audrey liebot is a French artist who graduated from the Master of Arts at the University of Western Switzerland (2019). She works in France and Switzerland and lives in Seine-Saint-Denis. Her work, very hybrid, follows a dramaturgy in the long run, crossed by the lack and the experience of the disease as praxis. She is interested in the chemistry of odors, embroiders, makes and unmakes. Invited for Exposé-es to reside at the Palais de Tokyo in March-April 2023 as part of the La Manutention program for artists in the field of the living arts, she invites us to share time in the interstitial zones of memory and sex where “we let the other live” (Judith Butler). She created memento and j’ai faim j’ai froid and produced the radio series untitled. She is supported by the ADAMI, the Centre national de la danse and the Ménagerie de Verre and is resident at Artagon Pantin. On se connaît de la nuit, the performance she created based on Elisabeth Lebovici’s book Ce que le sida m’a fait, is part of the programming of the Centre national de la danse associated with the exhibition Exposé·es.
