Based on their book, Le soin des choses – Politiques de la Maintenance (2022), David Pontille and Jérôme Denis are invited, during a conference, to extend their essay published in the magazine Palais and to introduce a new reflection on the care of fragilities. A discussion that opposes the rhythm of programmed obsolescence and overconsumption by putting maintenance and those who perform it in the foreground.
