Secret Archipelago introduces the contemporary creation of South-East Asia, a region which is undergoing transformation and whose artists, still firmly rooted in tradition, are plugged into an ultra-contemporary world. The exhibition shows the creative tension between past and future with around 40 works, most specially created for this occasion.

On the occasion of the launch of Singapour en France – le festiva land of the opening of the exhibition Secret Archipelago, the performance The Incredible Adventures of Border-Crossers, commissioned by the Festiva l
and the Singapore International Festiva l of Arts, and directed by Ong Keng Sen, will be presented.
