This strategic card game is a mock game, freely inspired by universes such as Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon.
It follows a few loose rules, but its true purpose lies elsewhere: a pedagogical tool designed to demystify critical thought and offer a playful entry point into French Theory.
Rather than a traditional board game, it serves as an experimental space where philosophy and sociology can be handled, diverted, and replayed.
And since French Theory itself thrives on subverting established frameworks, feel free to invent your own rules.
This project was created by the Cultural Mediation team of the Palais de Tokyo.
The game board was designed by Romain Pereira and illustrated by Nygel Panasco.
All cards were written by Simon Bruneel-Millon and graphically designed by Romain Pereira.
They feature illustrations by Nygel Panasco, Salomé Lahoche, Léa Djeziri, Vincent Neveux, and Pauline Lecerf.
They were translated into English by Margaux Verdier, and printed and cut in the micro-publishing workshop of the Palais de Tokyo by Victoria Bernard, Miangaly Randriamanantena, and Simon Bruneel-Millon.
