Fairy-marin-butterfly, born in the Paris region, Tony Colombe. K burns walls and sculpts stone. A poet-sculptor, he writes new queer mythologies, reflecting on how to collectively inhabit a world about to catch fire.
His work has been shown in Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Wales. His suppositions-sortilèges were published in spring 2022 as Some Flowers/Quelques fleurs by Editions Paulette.
Tony sketches the contours of a world made of false ruins and new icons, his sculptures appearing as found fragments of a world not yet created.
Where desires are inscribed on walls with lighter flames. Where hundreds of transgender flowers cry out, fed up with being crushed by cops’ shoes. Where, in a garden made of sheets, tears and testo, you are invited to enter.
