Sasha Kurmaz is an interdisciplinary artist based in Kyiv. His practice spans photography, video, performance, and participatory projects. Exploring the intersections of urban space, ideology, and collective memory, his work examines power relations and social transformations in post-socialist societies. He has exhibited internationally and received the C/O Berlin Talent Award (2016), Kazimir Malevich Artist Award (2020), and Grand Prix Images Vevey (2023).
