Sara Kontar was born in 1996, artist and photographer, she Is a student in Master of Animation Cinema at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris (ENSAD).
She lived in Syria until 2015, where she studied architectures at the University of Damascus, before moving in France in 2016. One year after her arrival in Paris, she begins studying Art. She obtained her Master 1 at the ENSAD in Paris in 2021. During these years she has participated to numerous exhibitions, some  of which at the Centre Pompidou, at the Musée nationale de l’histoire de l’immigration in Paris. She has participated in artistic activities for several associations and festivals, most of which concern Syrian art. Last year she worked on an animation project, which consisted of four short scenes in a documentary film about Syrian immigrants that aired on France 3 Television. Sara started practicing photography in 2017 and was created in 2021a platform for contemporary Syrian photographers EyesFromSyria, thus initiating a living archive of their work.
