Salman Nawati, a visual artist whose practice is rooted in painting, has cultivated a diverse multimedia practice encompassing drawing, painting, installation, photography, and video art. Residing in Sweden since 2022, he formerly balanced his artistic pursuits with teaching at the Qattan Foundation in Gaza, also serving in administrative and leadership roles at art festivals.
He has spearheaded numerous art projects, including “Port without Sea,” “Zero Hour,” “Portrait,” and “The First Sin,” alongside contributing to the Sahab Museum with Hawaf collective.He has presented three solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Gaza, Ramallah, Jerusalem, and international venues such as The Mosaic Rooms in the UK, as well as in France, Italy, and Dubai.
