Naomi Beckwith is the Deputy Director, and Jennifer and David Stockman Chief Curator at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation. A respected scholar and art historian, Beckwith has contributed to numerous catalogue publications and periodicals. Her acclaimed exhibitions and publications have centered on the impact of identity and the resonance of Black culture on multidisciplinary practices within global contemporary art. Beckwith is artistic director for documenta 16.
