Lou Lim’s work questions the close relationship between human beings and their artificial appendages such as clothes and computers. Her distorted anthropomorphic creations have a strangeness which is also intended as an invitation to reconsider the conventional notion of beauty. Lou Lim graduated from the fine arts faculty of the University of the Philippine. Her thesis was commended by the jury. She has taken part in a large number of exhibitions in Manila since 2011.
