A real challenge to gravity, the roller derby is played with shoulders, it runs against wind and tides and gets used to spectacular falls, giving battle to the opposing team.

Les Gueuses de Pigalle is a roller derby team created in 2012. Appeared in the United States, this team and contact sport was created by women and for women and is built around a punk folklore, slightly libertarian, definitely DIY and resolutely feminist. Today, the community stands for a LGBTQIA+ friendly and inclusive world.

Based in Paris, their team is a section of the Paris Hockey Club, an association located in the 18th arrondissement that has existed since 1913.
