Kiyémis is an Afrofeminist author and poet renowned for her exploration of the themes of diaspora, memory and resilience. Winner of the Prix Régine Deforges for Et, Refleurir, her work blends poetry and prose to give voice to diasporic and feminine narratives. She hosted “Rends La Joie” (two seasons, 2023-2024), a series of poetic vignettes and interviews with inspiring personalities, conceived as an engine of creativity, magic and change.
