Born in 1986 in Paris. Lives and works in Paris.

 

Studying for a doctorate in art history, and with a master’s degree in “Contemporary art and how it is exhibited” from the Sorbonne, Hélène Meisel is an art historian and critic. She was awarded a study bursary by the Centre Pompidou. Her activity as an art critic goes hand in hand with freelance work as an exhibition curator; she also collaborates on journals, in particular 20/27.
