Géraldine Le Roux is a Senior Lecturer in Anthropology at the University of Western Brittany (France), a Senior Adjunct Research Fellow at James Cook University (Australia) and an exhibition curator. She has worked in Australia and Oceania for nearly fifteen years on issues of art, heritage, indigenous identities and, more recently, on the cultural perception of what the ocean is.
