Generativ Process was a collective that was founded as part of the artistic workshops organized by artists Patrik Pion and Paule Combey with several groups of patients at the George Sand Psychiatric Hospital in Bourges from the early 2000s until 2013. Generativ Process was dedicated to the production of experimental videos. Emphasizing collective creation rather than therapeutic ends, these videos use sound and image loops, cutting, repetition and desynchronization as tools to translate and express perceptual disorders.
