Physician, academic medical researcher and entrepreneur, Edem Allado founded Polyominos in 2023, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting exploration and research by placing human connection at the center of the relation. Located in the heart of Nancy, its guiding principle is the duty to try, to reconfigure the existing and to dream of new possibilities without being constrained by available means. Polyominos welcomes artists, choreographers, researchers, entrepreneurs and creatives from all walks of life, providing them with a modular, protean and stimulating space to work and reflect.

Building on his own explorations, he founded L’Artésienne in 2010, a non-profit still active within the University of Paris Cité that promotes art, culture and solidarity.

Associate Board Member of 49 Nord 6 Est – Frac Lorraine, he also joined the Edouard Glissant Art Found as the President of the Batoutos Committee, contributing to strategic decisions and the development of the Foundation’s initiatives.

In 2024, he founded the publishing house Les Presses des Pionniers (LPDP) to support emerging talents who redefine the boundaries of their disciplines, paving the way for uncharted territories in the worlds of entrepreneurship, science and art.
