Déborah Danowski is a philosopher, professor emeritus at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, specialising in Modern metaphysics. Over the last two decades, she has become one of Brazil’s leading scholars on the ecological collapse and a campaigner for the cause of the Earth. She is the author of The Ends of the World, with Eduardo Viveiros de Castro, and several texts on denialism in the 20th and 21st centuries. Her book A chuva desmancha todos os fatos: ensaios de filosofia will soon be released by n-1 editions.
