Chloé Ducray

Harp

Chloé Ducray began playing the harp with Béatrice Guillermin and entered the CNSM of Paris in 2007. After obtaining her Master’s degree, she performed as a soloist in Europe and Japan. She won the 2nd prize at the FNAPEC competition in 2010 with the Octalys ensemble, and is now involved in duo and trio with voice, in which she interprets a piano repertoire that she reinvents for her instrument. In 2016, she recorded a CD of her Schubert and Schumann transcriptions. She was also the principal harp of Pierre Boulez’ Lucerne Academy in 2012 and commissioned Benjamin Attahir’s first opera/ballet.

Invited by national orchestras, member of the company Café Europa and the Frivolités Parisiennes, she is enriched by the contact of her peers to defend atypical projects.
