Annamaria Ajmone is an Italian dancer and choreographer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Modern Literature. The body intended as a malleable and changeable material, capable of transforming spaces into places, is at the core of her research. Her works were presented in various performing arts festivals, museums, art galleries among others: La Biennale Danza (Venice), Public Fiction/Night Gallery (LA), Fondazione Prada (Milano), Santarcangelo Festival (Rimini), Théâtre de la Ville (Paris), On Marche (Marrakech). She works with a number of artists on projects that vary in nature and length, including Cristina Kristal Rizzo, Jacopo Miliani, Francesco Cavaliere, Industria Indipendente, Felicity Mangan, Flora Yin Wong, Natalia Trejbalova. She received the Danza & Danza award as “best Italian performer” in 2015. She coordinates Nobody’s Indiscipline, an open source platform for the sharing of artistic practices and Nessuno, a gathering and festive practice, dedicated to performance.She is associated artist of Triennale Milano Teatro.
