Born in 1974 in Brussels (Belgium), Aline Bouvy lives and works between Brussels and Luxembourg. She studied visual arts at the ERG (Graphic Research School) in Brussels from 1995 to 1999 before joining the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht (Netherlands). Since 2013, her work has been shown in numerous galleries and institutions such as the Exo Exo gallery (Paris, France) in 2015, the Motel gallery in Brooklyn (New York, USA) in 2016, and the Albert Baronian gallery in 2018. In 2022, the MAC’s – Museum of Contemporary Arts in Horny (Brussels) presented Aline Bouvy in a solo exhibition entitled Cruising Bye.
