The Calypso bookshop first opened its doors in August 2020 in the 11^th  arrondissement, before relocating to the 14^th  arrondissement in April 2023. It specializes in Caribbean and overseas cultures, offering a wide selection of novels, poetry, essays, history books, art books, children’s literature, and travel guides, all centered around authors and themes from the Caribbean and overseas regions. The bookshop also features a tea room and regularly hosts author meet-and-greets as well as exhibitions.
