Visits will be back with the opening of upcoming exhibitions on October 21th.
Through museum education, we aim to build a bridge between art and the viewer.
Working as a catalyst for exchanges and discussions, the various facets of museum education are a means of bringing together different audiences and generations around the museum’s program, which includes guided tours, events, workshops and open-access informational services.
Open to everyone – from the simply curious to the initiated, by night or by day – these activities will help the visitor to navigate the highways and byways of contemporary art.
In order to allow each visitor to explore the exhibitions at his or her own pace and to engage directly with them, ourmuseum eductors are always available throughout the exhibition space or near a particular piece of art for questions and discussions.
To complete the visit, a number of free-access information stations are disseminated throughout the museum, creating break points during the visit and helping to cement the visitor’s impressions and understanding of the exhibitions, making him the author of his own personal visitor experience.
Located at various intervals throughout the Palais de Tokyo, the visitor centers are friendly and welcoming hubs where our Visitor Experience Assistants can answer questions and assist visitors throughout their exploration.
