This spring, the fourth edition of La Friche explores the notion of mental health in contemporary art.
The five participating artists and art workers examine the challenges and issues involved, and reflect on the practices that need to be put in place to fully integrate mental health . Whether using puppets, surveys, interviews or games, they intend to investigate the state of mental health of those who work in, around, beside, in front of or against the institutions and venues where art is made, exhibited and shared. Taking the Palais de Tokyo as their reference point, their explorations extend beyond the walls of the institution to take the pulse of a constellation of professions that make up the art worlds.
