After 3 days of Master Class, full of enriching exchanges, 3D techniques and an exceptional meeting with the movies director Wim Wenders – who intervened during a public conference at Palais de Tokyo, gathering more than 250 people – the 10 participants in the contest PUSH YOUR ART presented their projects to the jury.
Cécile B.Evans has been elected winner of the contest. Her project, The Brightness, consists in a video showing the interview of phantom pains specialist, who discusses the sensations of lack and absence. Her project will be realized and exposed at Palais de Tokyo.
The jury chose three other candidates too, whose project’s outline will be also exhibited at Palais de Tokyo: David Ancelin, whose project consists in a graphic game revolving on the idea of mosaic and the crystalized movement of a water drop; Philipp Engelhardt, who, using the 3D techniques, would like to make 3 paintings made by his grandfather come alive; and finally, Romain Sein, who would like to document the ascension of the “table du diable”, a spectacular sand stone located in the region of Palatinate, in Germany.

Palais de Tokyo and Orange are teaming up to promote the 3D technic in the art world
In 2013, this international event is an opportunity for young artists under 35 years of age to practice or learn about an innovative and emerging creative technique, and for the public to discover a new aspect of this technology.
No specific knowledge about 3D is required, the projects will be selected for their artistic qualities. The Master Class and professionals will help the candidates for the production of their piece of art and teach them everything they need.
10 candidates invited to an exceptional Master Class at Palais de Tokyo in Paris
By taking part in the PUSHYOURART adventure, the 10 best participants will attend a 3 day Master Class, where they will be able to develop their projects thanks to the artistic and technical training of a program of conferences and workshops led by professionals.
At the end of the 3 days, a prestigious jury will name the winner and 3 runners up of the contest. The jury gathers personalities from the world of art and 3D creation, who join Jean de Loisy, President of Palais de Tokyo, and Christine Albanel, former Minister for Culture and current Executive Director in charge of events, cultural partnerships and solidarity at Orange, as well as Mathieu Mercier, the artist who supports the 2013 edition.

1st prize : The first prize: the production of the work fully financed by Orange and an exhibition at Palais de Tokyo alongside Mathieu Mercier, the artist sponsoring the competition, who will also produce a 3D piece in the same conditions as the young winning artist.
For the 3 runners up: presentation of their sketches and preliminary works during this same exhibition.
THREE MAJOR STAGES OF THE COMPETITION :
• Stage 1: Starting from October 25, 2012 up until January 14, 2013: imagine a piece of art and describe your project in the application papers. www.pushyourart.com
• Stage 2: Start of March: the Jury will announce the 10 participants who will have the chance to develop their project by attending an exceptional 3-day Master Class at Palais de Tokyo at the end of March 2013.
• Stage 3: End of March, on completion of the Master Class, the Jury will vote for the winner whose work will be produced then exhibited at Palais de Tokyo. Three other shortlisted artists will see their preliminary works presented during the same exhibition.
