Mattia Biagi is an Italian artist based in Los Angeles. Mixing a traditional Italian background with life in America, in this new body of work, Biagi desire to make tangible a belief in supernatural causality and its cultural nuances. What fascinates Biagi is that every single action, if repeated, can became a ritual and generate a new symbiotic relationship between body, object and space.

Through abstract sculpture, video, painting, photography and performance he will investigate human emotional reaction to physical objects that have superstitious associations, with videos installed in Palais de Tokyo.
