MATTHEW HERBERT One Pig

To bring the 30 hours (Pre)opening of the Palais to a close, meet up with Matthew Herbert and the final part of his trilogy. The king of the sampling of natural sounds – listening to his own noises in One One and to those produced by the crowd in One Club –, he presents One Pig, the experimental and provocative recording of the life of a pig, from its birth to the slaughter house, a tribute to an animal whose only reason for being today is “to be eaten”. Beware: a strident experience!
