For the opening of Hiroshi Sugimoto’s exhibition, the composer and interpreter Keiichiro Shibuya will present a live concert in Room 37 to accompany the artist’s new film. It is in that historic room that the Theaters series which was the starting point for the film was photographed.
Keiichiro Shibuya is a composer and interpreter of electronic and acoustic music and a graduate of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. In 2002, he created ATAK, a music label and a collective of artists bringing together music, fashion and design. As well as solo projects, he produces music for films, specifically for Memories of Origin by Hiroshi Sugimoto (2012). With The End (2013), its music devised entirely from synthetic sounds, he produced his first opera featuring the vocaloid Hatsune Miku.
This event is free with a ticket entrance of the exhibition, no registration required.
