Corps Perdu - Discussion and collective reading with Lamin Fofana

Following the performance on Thursday 15 January 2026 and the presentation of the sound work within the 37dB programme from 16 January to 15 February 2026 at the Palais de Tokyo, Lamin Fofana invites the public to take part in a collective reading of Aimé Césaire’s “Corps perdu”, the poetry collection from which his work takes its title. This participatory reading, accompanied by a live musical underscoring, will be preceded by a conversation between Lamin Fofana and Amandine Nana, curator at the Palais de Tokyo.

“Corps perdu” is the first original work in a trilogy through which Lamin Fofana pursues his ongoing exploration of how theoretical and poetic texts might be transformed into sonic form.

The programme dedicated to Lamin Fofana’s “Corps perdu” will unfold across three events at the Palais de Tokyo:
