In today’s wars, battles unfold not only on physical frontlines but also through screens, networks, and infrastructures that shape what we see, think, and feel. Propaganda, algorithmic governance, and affective manipulation mobilize emotions as weapons of war.
This event brings together Ukrainian artists and thinkers to explore how these invisible architectures of war operate — and how art resists, subverts, and reimagines them. Featuring theoretical insights from Svitlana Matviyenko, artistic presentations by FantasticLittle Splash, Lesia Vasylchenko, Sasha Kurmaz, Sergiy Petlyuk, and an essay reading by Kateryna Iakovlenko, the program examines the entanglement of images, infrastructures, and emotions in times of crisis.
Concluding with a roundtable moderated by Antonio Somaini, the event is part of “Travelling to Ukraine”, Ukraine’s Season in France (December 2025 – March 2026), and aims to amplify critical voices at the intersection of technology, media, and the aesthetics of resistance.
