Clarissa Baumann

Brazilian artist Clarissa Baumann (b. Rio de Janeiro, 1988) studied visual and decorative arts in Rio de Janeiro and pursued a professional career in contemporary dance, before enrolling at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-Arts in Paris (2014), where she worked in the studio of Ann Veronica Janssens. Since completing her post-graduate diploma at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris, in 2015, Clarissa Baumann has taken part in a number of group exhibitions including the 61e Salon de Montrouge, and Laboratoire Espace Cerveau, Station 1(0) at the Villeurbanne Institute of Contemporary Art. She had first solo exhibitions at Galerie Dohyang Lee (Paris, 2017), and the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts (Détours, 2014, in Paris).
