Van Cleef & Arpels

Founded at Paris’ 22 Place Vendôme in 1906, Van Cleef & Arpels came into being following Estelle Arpels’ marriage to Alfred Van Cleef in 1895. Over the decades, the excellence of the High Jewelry Maison established its reputation across the world. Its emblematic signatures – such as the Alhambra® motif, the Zip necklace or the Mystery Set™ technique – its selection of Pierres de Caractère™, exceptional gems that instill an emotion, and the savoir-faire of its Mains d’Or™, the virtuoso craftsmen of Van Cleef & Arpels’ workshops, have given birth to jewelry and watchmaking collections redolent of dreams and enchantment. Today, the Maison remains faithful to this highly distinctive style characterized by poetry, refinement, creativity and artistic sensibility. Whether inspired by nature, couture, dance or the imagination, it offers the world a gateway to a timeless universe of beauty and harmony.

Van Cleef & Arpels’ constant commitment to creation also finds expression in its various activities as a partner and patron in the cultural field. Reflecting the Maison’s attachment to values of transmission and sharing, these initiatives take place in sectors that it holds dear: they include heritage protection, fine and decorative arts, design, ballet and poetry.

Fondation Luma

The LUMA Foundation was established in 2004 by Maja Hoffmann in Switzerland to support the activities of independent artists and pioneers, as well as institutions working in the fields of visual arts, photography, publishing, documentary, and multimedia. The foundation commissions, produces and supports challenging artistic projects combing a particular interest in environmental issues, human rights, education, and culture in the broadest sense.

LUMA Arles is a new experimental contemporary art center that brings together artists, researchers, and creators from every field to collaborate on multi-disciplinary works and exhibitions. Located south of Arles’ historic city center, the project repurposes the industrial ruins of a 10-acre rail depot and introduces a new public park at the Parc des Ateliers.

The central team of designers for the project includes: Frank Gehry, who has designed a new Arts Resource Center building; Selldorf Architects, who are entrusted with the renovation and conversion of two former rail facilities into new exhibition spaces; and Bas Smets, who is responsible for the landscape design.

While the opening of the main building at the Parc des Ateliers is scheduled for 2018, an artistic program developed in collaboration with the LUMA Arles Core Group of artistic consultants— Maja Hoffmann, Tom Eccles, Liam Gillick, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Philippe Parreno, and Beatrix Ruf—is presented periodically in the already opened venues of La Grande Halle, Les Forges and La Mécanique Générale.

Recent projects produced by the LUMA Foundation for LUMA Arles at Parc des Ateliers in Arles include: SYSTEMATICALLY OPEN? New Forms for Contemporary Image Production (2016); Imponderable: The Archives of Tony Oursler (2015); Frank Gehry: Solaris Chronicles (2014); Wolfgang Tillmans: Neue Welt (2013); To the Moon via the Beach (2012); Doug Aitken: Altered Earth (2012); How Soon is Now (2010) and the symposia How Institutions Think (2016); The Flood of Rights (2013) and The Human Snapshot (2011).

Lune Rouge

As a company that values innovation and creativity, Lune Rouge is proud to support the Tino Sehgal exhibition, an artist whose investigation into the form and meaning of art works shakes visitors’ expectations.

Inspired by contemporary creativity and innovation, Guy Laliberté has applied the same passion that went into Lune Rouge, an enterprise that develops creative and technological projects, into building an art collection. The Lune Rouge Collection features the powerful voices of established artists who reflect on the human condition and emerging artists’ diverse perspectives.

The Lune Rouge – Ibiza Art Project is a contemporary art exploratory space that offers the local and international community the chance to encounter works from Lune Rouge Collection and the artists supported by the organization. Widely varied programming, including a summer artist’s residency and thematic exhibitions of collected works in the winter season, share and promote the experience and evocativeness of contemporary art.

ENGIE

Artstorming

The passion for art in motion

We share with you our passion for contemporary art. After 10 years spent working in multinationals, Sophie GONZALEZ, the founder of Artstorming, decided in 2005 to design an innovative approach to managerial topics through the original angle of contemporary art.

Artstorming is an agency specialized in developing all resources of a company using art as a privileged medium. We design innovative and efficient tools and methods to facilitate the understanding of contemporary art and generate new ways of thinking managerial issues. Thanks to our ‘savoir-faire’ and expertise, we collaborate with a large number of world-class corporations and, also individuals.

Our credo

Introducing art in the corporate life of a company is making it a better place to work, more inspiring, motivating, simply a more human one.

Our mission

Deciphering art and its vision, messages and key learnings within corporations in order to develop a prospective view, unleash the creative potential of the human resources of the companies, strengthen social cohesion in teams thanks to our programs of conferences, guided visits, creative seminars, tailor-made events…
