In this original performance untitled Dessin (‘Drawing’), Clarissa Baumann circumscribes a space through the action of wearing down a piece of chalk on the sides of a small room plunged into darkness: all the audience can perceive is the sound of the chalk sliding across the walls. The performance, given in public on the opening night, will remain visible and audible during the entire length of the exhibition.
