In keeping with its mission to make contemporary art more accessible to all, Palais de Tokyo has developed a number of initiatives designed to bring in audiences that don’t necessarily visit cultural institutions as a rule. In 2008, Palais signed the “Vivre ensemble” charter uniting a number of cultural institutions and associations that have developed a three-tiered program of action: promoting tolerance, reaching new audiences, and setting the example.
